A celebration.

Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and prayers for Ryan and Celeste McCormick as well as their families.  It has meant so much to see the power of the church and community as we have supported our dear friends.

The celebration of Celeste’s life is scheduled for January 11, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the East Auditorium of North Point Community Church.  You can find directions to the church here: http://www.northpoint.org/site/page/directions

Immediately following the service, the family requests that you join them for a dessert reception in the West Auditorium.

In lieu of flowers, Ryan has asked that donations be made to the FOR Gwinnett building campaign of Gwinnett Church. You can donate either online HERE  or by mail.

Make your check payable to “Gwinnett Church (FOR GWINNETT)” and mail it to:

Celeste worked as a Groups Director in UpStreet, our ministry for elementary aged kids and absolutely loved it. She felt like she was getting to live out what God had created her to do. She loved serving her volunteers, the kids, and their families and was so excited about moving into our new building.  Ryan felt this would be the perfect way we could honor her life.

Again, thank you so much for all you are doing to care for the McCormick and Madonna families.  We know your presence at the celebration service will mean so much to Ryan and the families. We look forward to seeing you there. (The dress is business casual.)

For those of you who will not be able to attend in person on January 11, a live webcast of the service will allow you to join us online. That evening, please click on the link below to view the service:  http://northpointonline.tv/celeste.

*please note, this website will not be live until January 11

My thoughts and prayer’s for The Madonna/McCormick families, and to all who knew her. Celeste was one of a kind , a truly inspirational person. The type of person with whom you could laugh, cry, hurt, or what have you, and she would always relate with you, always cared with all her heart. Celeste was the type of person who would call just to make sure you were ok, if she knew things werent Never was a better friend than this to so many. I will hold you in my heart forever Celeste.
